Movie of the Month

In honor of the remake of this movie coming out, I choose this as the movie of the month. (The picture below is a link the the offical site.) I LOVE this movie. It's gorey, D's hand talks to him, and the plot line is pretty good. Sounds wierd? It is. But it's really, REALLY good. Old time anime too, and it isn't heavily edited like most modern anime.

Plot-
In the future, the world is dominated by monsters and supernatural things like vampires and werewolves. A hunter is caught by a very old vampire and is bitten by him. She enlists the help of a vampire hunter to save her from being turned into a vampire. The vampire wants her for his bride, and he constantly tries to get her away from the protection of the hunter.

Book of the Month

This book is one of my favorites. It's set in the very distant future and is about three miners that happend to find an escape pod in an asteriod belt. It looks completely alien and happens to have a child inside.

The rest is about thier adventures in keeping her safe from the people who might want to study her... Or worse.
